MELISANKAN TEKS RECOUNT (Presenting Spoken Recount )

TOO LATE    

The plane was late and detectives were waiting at the airport all morning. They were expecting a valuable parcel of diamonds from South Africa. A few hours earlier, someone had told the police that thieves would try to steal the diamonds. When the plane arrived, some of the detectives were waiting inside the main building while others were waiting at the airfield. Two men took the parcel off the plane and carried it into the Customs House. While two detectives were keeping guard at the door, two others opened the parcel. To their surprise, the precious parcel was full of stones and sand!

Teks Recount di atas, jika hendak dilakukan oralisasi (melakukan dialog tentang isi teks Recount tersebut), maka akan berbeda modelnya, conversation gambits perlu dilakukan agar dialog berjalan secara kontekstual, kondisional, dan situasional. Perhatikan contoh dialognya (spoken text) berikut ini:

Ann	:	Do you know why there were lots of detectives at the air port this morning? What happened?
Bill	:	Yeah. They were waiting for an aeroplane from South Africa but it was too late.
Ann	:	Why?
Bill	:	I don’t know. But it was funny. Somebody had told the police …a few hours earlier … that the plane was carrying a parcel of diamonds from South Africa … very expensive and … some thieves had planned to steal it.
Ann	:	So?
Bill	:	So … they were keeping guard there, everywhere, the whole morning. Some were in the main building and some in the airfield.
Ann	:	What happened when the plane arrived?
Bill	:	All the detectives were very watchful. Two men took the parcel off the plane and then carried it to the Customs House.
Ann	:	What did they do with the parcel, then?
Bill	:	Two detectives opened it. And, to make sure that nobody would break it, two detectives were keeping guard at the door. But … ha..ha..ha…
Ann	:	What?
Bill	:	It was funny. They got a hoax. The parcel did not contain diamonds! But, you know what?
Ann	:	What? Why laughing?
Bill	:	Stones and sand!
Ann	:	You must be kidding!
Bill	:	No! It’s true.
